Our Mission
The purposes of the Foundation are
I. To promote and perpetuate Filipino culture and customs in the State of Hawaii; to promote education and provide for scholarships.
II. Receive grants, subsidies, and gifts to be utilized in carrying out the above described purposes.
III. Solicit and accept public and private contributions and bequests to be used without personal gain or profit to any Director or officer of the Corporation in carrying out the Corporation’s purposes.
IV. Act as trustee under any trust or fiduciary relationship incidental to the principal objectives of the Corporation to the extent permissible under the laws of the State of Hawaii.
V. Have and exercise all of the powers conferred by law on non-profit corporations.
In building up its obligation to community service, the United Filipino Council of Hawaii Foundation (UFCH Foundation) was instituted in 2019. This Foundation invests in the
organization’s college scholarship, cultural awakening, civic mentoring and public outreach programs. Furthermore, these projects perpetuate the legacies of the Filipinos in Hawaii and speak of the UFCH Foundation’s continuing commitment to the future.
